West Newton Hill

For a busy family who spend a lot of time in the kitchen, it was important to create a functional, intuitive layout that promotes family cooking. Multiple work zones were established for cooking, baking, and cleanup so that everyone could be involved in the daily routines. A table height counter was connected to the island to keep family engaged during breakfast or while doing homework.A harmonious blend of materials makes this highly utilized kitchen feel serene and cozy. Custom designed integrated hardware adds visual interest and blends contemporary style with traditional design. A unique L-shaped island with varied countertop heights breaks up a dimensionally large central space and helps control flow throughout the kitchen.
